Our mission & vision

Lumelife’s mission is to provide high-quality therapeutic nicotine vaping products (NVPs) and support to medical practitioners in Malaysia as they work with their patients to achieve smoking cessation and ultimately nicotine abstinence.

This mission is rooted in three core principles:

Therapeutic vaping for smoking cessation

  • Striving to improve the wellbeing of nicotine dependent Malaysians.
  • Working with medical practitioners and addiction specialists to develop pathways using NVPs to help individuals transition from smoking to fresh air.
  • Partnering with the leading therapeutic vape manufacturer from Australia to allow practitioners confidence prescribing vapes

Education and Support

  • Providing comprehensive education and support services for prescribers and their patients.
  • Ensuring that healthcare practitioners can access accurate information about nicotine use, vaping technology, and the potential benefits of harm reduction.
  • Assisting and guiding prescribers and their patients make informed choices that align with their health and wellness goals.

Responsibility

  • Only working with NVP manufacturers who are committed to therapeutic access to NVPs
  • Ensuring that NVP technology is focused on achieving best patient outcomes.
  • Advocating for responsible vaping practices and contribute to the ongoing dialogue surrounding harm reduction in the nicotine consumption landscape.

LumeLife’s role in permanently driving down Malaysian smoking numbers

Nearly 80% of Malaysian smokers say they want to quit smoking*, but for a number of reasons don’t, or simply can’t.

Lumelife believes that using NVPs manufactured to pharmaceutical standards has enormous potential to address the burden of smoking- related disease.

The people who use Lumelife’s products, and the doctors and pharmacists who support them, require the utmost confidence in the safety and quality of our products.

Lumelife shares the concerns of Malaysia’s public health community regarding the uncertain long-term use implications of NVPs and the risk of new addiction by non-smokers.

We recognise that while NVPs can help achieve our shared goal of a smokefree Malaysia, they should not be accessible to youth or non-smokers.

Lumelife is determined to help improve smoking cessation rates globally and will continue to work alongside regulators, medical practitioners and public health professionals to prove the safety and efficacy of inhaled Nicotine Replacement Therapy (iNRT) as a medical intervention.
